Charity: water is making waves (pun somewhat intended) as of late in the social justice world. Their September campaign is an exciting initiative, and their fundraising methods have been a breath of fresh air. I love that the more novel fundraising ideas circulating these days are upholding the cause of justice in our world. The Church and her partner organizations are finally leading the way in some very important segments of our culture. Check out this video about their September initiative:

Oh man, what a great idea. I really like organizations committed to addressing the water crisis in the world. My trips to Haiti with Raincatchers really opened my eyes to the huge need.
Conveniently, I turn 22 on the 23rd of September. So I’ve decided to start a birthday campaign for carity: water.
