The Passion Conferences crew is one of the Church’s most prominent faces to the college demographic globally. I wanted your thoughts about whether you think their newest video effectively communicates the Gospel to that generation. I specifically would love to hear from those of you who don’t identify as Christian. Does this connect with you? What do you like or not like?
I’d also love to hear about how you’ve seen the Gospl preached in a way that didn’t appeal to you. What you think needs to changeĀ about the way the Church in America communicates to this next generation? Do you think this video is progress in that direction?

This video makes me happy… just thinking about how lame “Christian art” was just 10 years ago, and how scared a lot of Christians seemed to be to embrace anything that was really creative. Even if it didn’t make non-Christians more likely to be drawn to God, it’s good for *my* life to be surrounded by more creativity.
Video was ok. Actually though, my main thought is simply this….I am attracted to sharing the gospel one-on-one, face-to-face through an actual conversation. I love give and take, question and answer….that sort of thing…. It is like providing the lecture, discussion and lab all rolled into one. (lab in that we demonstrate real love and interest, we listen and we serve) Many “forms” will do. Heck, today we had a student share their “slice” and he came to know the gospel a few weeks ago through a conversation that began with the ‘bridge diagram’ on a napkin. (can I say heck on your blog?) The video seemed like a advertisement to me. I actually lost interest after the first minute….and I’m supposed to be into this stuff : ) I may just have ADD.
