My original vision for ThisIsChurch.net was that its entries would always record or point ahead to captivating scenes of God’s Bride in all her beauty as I see her on campus at the University of Michigan. Since I’ve been away from my local ministry for some time (raising financial support), it’s been hard to paint those pictures for you since I myself am not there to witness most of them. But this week I’m going to return to the heart of this blog by giving you a snapshot of what God is doing in my sphere at New Life Church.
This Sunday, three students from my local house church community (the Southside New Life Team), are being baptized. I want to devote this upcoming week to sharing their stories. Because, like the tagline for this blog says, I want to be about telling Gospel stories.
So this week you will hear some from three of my dearest brothers and sisters as they bear their souls through their own unique, unparalleled, unprecedented stories, so as to tell of God’s awesome works and proclaim his great deeds (just read all of Psalm 145…it’s sick).
